*pushes a few boxes against a wall in the kitchen* Theeere's that!

*bounces into her room, which looks like a tornado hit it because she's trying to get rid of things she does not need*

Bloody hell, I didn't realize I was such a pack rat! *plops onto a pile of clothes and sits there, looking around with wide eyes* OOOOH! *crawls to another pile, pulls out a beanie hat thing from beneath some junk* HA! I remember this! *giggles* Must keep, naturally. *puts it on her head and goes on about her business*

[Lake]
[Anyone]
[Saturday Noon]

"Go get it, boy!"

Megan grinned, watching as Kip took off speedily to fetch the rope-like chew toy thrown.

"You sure you don't wanna play, Josie?" She turned her head to the dalmation at the lakeshore who seemed more content to dig around in the sand. "Well alright. Good boy, Kip!" Praising him with an affectionate rub behind his ears, she then wrestled the toy out of his grip.

"Guess I better get some reading in." Tossing the toy again, Megan grabbed her books and sat at the edge of the wooden dock and dipped her feet into the water. Come Monday, her internship at St. Mungos would begin and she wanted to be as prepared as possible.

Cake and Wine.

[some quiet restaurant in diagon alley]
[anyone]
[early evening]

"Another glass of wine would be nice, thank you," she sniffled, but before the waitress could leave, she gently reached for her arm. "Actually, just bring the whole bottle, please. Save us those bajillion trips, huh? Thank you so much." The waitress looked concerned, but went off to fetch the Hufflepuff's request anyway. Slinking back into her seat, Megan finished off her glass before bursting into another fit of tears. The bloke she had been seeing decided that she wasn't what he was looking for aaand dumped her at the park earlier that day. So naturally, this called for wine and an entire chocolate cake. "Didn't have to do it in front of everyone, bloody wanker," she hiccupped, stabbing into the dessert. "Stupid, stupid, stupid."

Relaxing.

[Some London park]
[Anyone]
[Noon]

Megan pulled out a blanket from her bag and sprawled it on the grass. "Nice day to be out," she mused, resting her sunglasses on the top of her head before kicking off her shoes and plopping down to make herself comfortable. It was fantastic, having all this freetime to just relax. Humming, she laid on her back and closed her eyes, drumming the rhythm of the song currently on her mind. Give her a few more minutes, and she'd probably be asleep!

A Good Ol' Day.

[Diagon Alley]
[Anyone]
[Late Afternoon]

*walks down the street, holding bags and her guitar slung over her shoulder* Today was a good day. *smiles to herself, politely salutes people she passes*

*takes a look into the bag dresses she bought from a thrift store* I might have to go there more often. It's truly amazing the things you can find! *grins before approaching a bench and sitting*

*grabs her guitar, tunes it a little bit, then begins to play*

Book Shopping.

[A wizarding bookstore in Cambridge]
[Anyone who would happen to be in that area]
[Mid-Afternoon]

Megan walked out of the bookstore with stack--must taller than her--of books. Winter break was just about over and it was time to prepare for new term. She received her set of classes a week or so ago and so it was something to look forward to. The Hufflepuff couldn't say she was as thrilled as she ought to be, though. But with the recent kidnappings and everything else going on, Megan just couldn't get into any sort of cheerful spirit. Letting out a small sigh, she struggled down the sidewalk, hoping to Merlin that no one bumped into her.

Monday Evening.

[Somewhere in Hogsmeade]
[Anyone]
[Monday Evening]

"No, I had a bloody great time, too! I, um...it was good to get out." Megan paused, shoving her hands into the pockets of her coat, and then as an afterthought, added rushedly, "I mean, I'm not saying I don't get out, I get out all the time, I'm not a hermit or anything, I walk dogs for Helga's sake, but obviously you know that since you go to school with me, I just mean that...it's good to get out with, uh, you." She laughed, perhaps a little too hard and then blushed a very bright shade of red. Obviously she was rubbish at speaking when she was in the presence of a very attractive bloke who'd she'd just had a first date with.

He grinned quite amusedly, staring down at her. He had the loveliest eyes, she decided; it wasn't very common for a person to have one green eye while the other one was amber. Smiling nervously, the Hufflepuff shifted in her spot, her heart drumming hard against her chest when he leaned in and kissed her right there in the middle of the sidewalk, and in the midst of moving people-traffic. After what felt like hours (it was probably no more than a minute, though), they broke away from the lip-lock and she could do nothing but stand there with the goofiest smile on her face.

"Goodnight," he chuckled, lifting her hand up to his lips and pressing a kiss to her knuckles.

"Um...g-goodnight, Wyatt. I'll um...I'll be sure to owl you when I get home. I...yeah. Bye..." she waved him off, taking steps back while until he disappeared into the crowd and she could see him no more. Finally turning around, Megan had to stand there and simply revel in the fact that her entire evening was so abso-bloody-lutely perfect. With a happy sigh, Megan adjusted the strap to her guitar case on her shoulder and started to walk down the street with a little bounce in her step.

Pizza!

[Pizza Parlour]
[Anyone]
[Late Afternoon]

*has been waiting in line FOREVER* It's cooooold, oh boy. *rubs hands together and then blows hot air into them* Looks like I'm a person or three away from the door, though, so that's good. Wonder why it's so busy this time around. Probably a party or something, I bet. *is only willing to wait because they basically have the best pepperoni pizza EVAR*

Tuneage.

[Café in Hogsmeade]
[Anyone]
[Mid-afternoon]

Adjusting her thick-knitted scarf, Megan seated herself at a table outside of a café and placed her guitar on her lap. It was Friday and she didn't have work OR class! It was certainly her lucky day. So all day she spent running a few errands; grocery shopping, sending owls to her family, buying a few winter clothes...nothing too spectactular--but she was happy to have gotten the chance to do them. Now she was taking a small little break, and decided to get a little guitar time in. "Ack? You're quite outta tune, aren't ya..." she chuckled, strumming the strings. "Meh, no worries." Smiling down at her instrument, Megan sat there at her lonesome and began to tune it.

Costume Shopping!

[Costume Shop]
[Anyone]
[Early Evening]

Hmmmm, I dunno, you guys... *spins around in the costume, checking herself out in the mirror* It's cute and all, but... *frowns, tugs a little on it* it's a bit short don't ya think? I mean...one wrong move and I'm sharin' with the world, ya know! *chuckles*

*the group of girls giggle* You've said the same thing about the first five costume! Come on, Meggo, you're gonna be wearing something underneath it! Besides, you look absolutely adorable! And it's a costume party. A party. Mostly everyone's going to be too cracked on sweets and alcohol anyway, so even if someone did notice anything, they aren't going to remember the next day!

*continues to stare in the mirror, idly playing with her lip ring* I do rather like this one. Mmmmm...I don't know. Maybe. Let's just keep looking, alright? *grins* I didn't come here to try on only six costumes, after all! *claps hands together and scurries back into the fitting room* *her friends sigh but chuckle and separate into different costume aisles.

Studying.

[Near a fountain in a little town centre in Cambridge, England]
[Anyone!]
[Late afternoon]

"Well, I think that should cover it! Whaddya think, Grizzly?" Megan took a lick off her ice cream cone and held out her long roll of parchment to the puppy laying beside her. He sniffed it and then yawned lazily before propping his head on her lap. The Hufflepuff smiled and crossed her legs at her ankles. "Meh, I'm with ya on that, mate. The history of potionmaking in the 1500s isn't exactly exciting, though. But this is what the prof wanted so..." Trailing off, she scrolled up the parchment and tossed in her orange bookbag decorated with various buttons and patches. She stiffled a yawn and pulled out a large textbook. "Oh boy," she grimaced. Somedays school really kicked her butt. Opening up to the right page, she glanced up at the giant fountain she was sitting near and sighed. "I've only got to read 35 pages. That's...not so bad..." Grizzly peered up at her. Heck, even he knew she was lying to herself. "Alright...well here goes nothing," she murmured as she began to read.

Hurrah!

[London Streets]
[Anyone]
[Early Evening]

"Whoa-ho-ho, m'dears, slow down!" she giggled and tugged gently on the bundle of leashes in her hands, bringing the various dogs to a stop. "I know you're excited to be taking a new route, but be gentle with me, aye? What good am I to ya if my hands are broken?"

They all barked eagerly, one particular mini doberman yanking at his leash. Megan grinned amusedly, kneeling down while they all moved to surround her. "Now if you're good the rest of the walk, I'll take you guys for some good old fashioned doggy-edible ice cream and cookies!"

Smiling broadly, Megan looked around to reassure herself that she knew where she was going--it had been a while since she'd been to London, to be truthful, which made this all the more exciting.

Hopefully she'd run into someone she knew.

"Alright, Kip Kip, lead the way!" she cheered, standing up and allowing the pups to pull her forward down the street.
